Many individuals, companies, individuals and community groups show their support for Auckland City Mission through the organisation and promotion of a wide range of fundraising events. We are extremely grateful for all the support we recieve, large and small. Below is a list of recent past events held on the Mission's behalf. We would like to acknowledge and thank all those involved for their care and support.

April:
  • Mollies Frocktails - the fashion event of the year. For more information about this 'not to be missed' gathering see Mollies website.

 

 

 

 

  • 14th: SKYCITY Cinemas Charity Screening of "Up" - Toy for a Ticket at SKYCITY Cinema's WestCity, Newmarket, Manukau, Highland Park, Albany.

  • 3rd "Yes-i-Can" Yes Disability Resource Centre can collection.

 October 2009:

  • 3rd and 4th: The NZ Art Sale, Alexandra Park

  • 5th: Auckland University World Habitat Day Collection

  • 1st - 16th: "Mission Kiwi Can', New Zealand Defence Force, canned food collection in recognition of World Food Day, October 16th. All cans donated to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch City Missions.

    • All month: GDL Brands, "The Biggest Loser", staff weight loss challenge. Microwave popcorn weighing the equivalent of the total weight loss for the whole organisation to be donated to Auckland City Mission.
September 2009:

  • 24th Edward Waaka "love and protection' singles release party.

  • All month: Post Haste staff and customer collections

 

 

 

December:

  • All month: Dine Aid. Around the country Diners will be given the opportunity to add $2 per table  to their bill. 100% of income raised will be donated to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch City Missions. Click here for a list of participating restaurants.

  • All month: Back in Action Chiropractors. Posture checks, 50% of fee to Auckland City Mission

  • All month: Auckland City Mission Christmas Appeal

  • 11th and 12th: Auckland City Mission Christmas Street Appeal. In the Auckland CBD, Newmarket and Takapuna volunteers will take to the streets to raise funds to support the Mission work into 2010. To register email James.

  • 25th Christmas Dinner at Vector. Auckland City Mission's Annual Christmas Dinner - promoting caring, friendship and family at Christmas time. Dinner is free but entry is by ticket only.

 

March:

  • Opens 16th: "House-to-House" an installation curated by The Domestic Craft and Contemporary Art Group at Artstation, Ponsonby. 25% of sold artworks will be donated to Auckland City Mission.
