Christmas Dinner
New Zealand’s largest Christmas day charity event is the Auckland Missions Christmas lunch. We are looking for a major sponsor to partner with the Mission for this event.
The Lunch is at the end of the Missions main annual campaign and our busiest time of the year. Over 400 volunteers will provide food, distribute presents and entertain over 1500
Aucklanders on the day.
Sponsorship opportunities include:
- Limited naming rights of the event
- Publicity and advertising of the event - Inclusion in all Christmas Dinner media activities leading up to the event
- Association with the Auckland City Mission – our work throughout the year is intensified over the Christmas season and so is our involvement with the community and the
media.
For many, participating in Christmas is simply impossible. The budgets of the lowest income members of our community don’t
allow the inclusion of the extra spending that Christmas entails. The Christmas dinner provides some of the most vulnerable and lonely Aucklanders with some Christmas cheer, a hot meal, a Christmas
present and companionship.

Street appeal
Our annual street appeal is on Friday the 12th of December. Sponsors are wanted to cover costs of the event and contribute to donations. We have volunteers collecting in
the CBD, Newmarket and Takapuna in the morning and at lunch time.
Opportunities include:
- Participation: great team building day out of the office.
- Brand promotion: Volunteers are identified by a red
Auckland City Mission Bib which has the facility to display an extra logo.
