Do you need help this Christmas?

This year, the uncertainty and health risks caused by COVID-19 has caused the Mission to approach Christmas differently.   We could not take the chance of putting people we support in high risk situations.
We have therefore made some changes to our plans for this year’s festive season.  See below.

 

Christmas Day Lunch

This year, because of COVID-19, we will be holding several smaller events across different sites, rather than one large Christmas Day event, with thanks to our two Christmas sponsors, ASB (which is also supporting the Wellington and Christchurch City Missions) and Nando’s.

Tickets are limited so please consider carefully when you are applying for a ticket.

Christmas Food and Gift Service starts 14th December

This year the Mission will be operating a phone assessment and drive through collection, to avoid people needing to wait in physical queues to receive the food parcels and gifts.    

At the end of each phone assessment, the caller will be given a time to pick up the food and gifts for whānau.
