Thanks for wishing to support the Mission’s work. Our apologies that we can’t currently accept donations of pre-loved clothes and household goods at the moment as our warehouse is full. Once we have space to sort and distribute safely and effectively, we will resume accepting drop-offs and arranging pick-ups of these goods. In the meantime, we are still accepting donations of non-perishable food and money. We’re grateful for your support and understanding. Thank you for your generosity.
Goods and Gift Donations
Auckland City Mission is reliant on donations to provide quality household items, clothing, Christmas gifts, beds and bedding to Aucklanders in need.
The Mission happily accepts donations of high-quality used items throughout the year. Clothing, bedding and household items are distributed to Crisis Care & Community Services clients as needed and any excess stock is sold through the Mission’s Auckland City Mission Op Shops.
Please note that all donated items should be in good working order, clean and unstained. The Mission has to pay to dispose of broken, incomplete, dirty or unsanitary items, eating into funds which could otherwise be spent on providing vital services to struggling Aucklanders.
