Food Service and Food Parcel Requests

When an individual or family is unable to access food, they can call our food service team for emergency food support. The Mission’s food parcels are designed to feed a family or individual for 4 days to get them through an immediate crisis. Food parcels are made up of simple items that families can make into filling meals, along with essential toiletry items.
Please provide the following information when requesting food assistance:
- Photo identification
- A decline letter from WINZ showing that no special need grant is available.
- A bank statement with at least the last 10 transactions listed.
The Auckland City Mission distributed over 45,000 emergency food parcels in 2020.
