Helping Aucklanders
in Desperate need

New Beginnings Shops

New Beginnings Second-hand shops

Each year, the Mission re-distributes thousands of donated items to Aucklanders in desperate need. However, donations that are excess to requirements may be sold through the Mission’s New Beginnings second-hand shops, providing good quality, low-cost, second-hand clothing and goods to other families and individuals.

All profits from these shops are returned directly to help fund the Mission’s social services.

Donating goods:

LoadingTruckThe Mission has an on-going need for high-quality used goods. If you’re interested in donating, you can drop small items off to 140 Hobson Street. The collection of larger items can be arranged by calling the Mission’s Distribution Centre on 09 377 4322.

Please note that all items must be clean and in good condition. The Mission incurs a significant cost each year to dispose of unusable (i.e. ripped, smelly, stained and broken) items and cannot afford to wash or dry clean clothes and blankets.

Our thanks to all the wonderful people who have donated items to the Mission.
