Auckland City Mission Housing Limited

Auckland City Mission Housing Limited (ACMHL) is part of the Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai group. ACMHL is a registered Class 1 Social Landlord that focuses on providing permanent homes to people needing social housing, some who are then supported by and cared for by Auckland City Mission Social Services Team.

Auckland City Mission is about to open the landmark HomeGround building, which includes 80 apartments managed by ACMHL. This is only part of the solution to providing permanent homes for the thousands of people in Auckland who are not securely and adequately housed.

We have a long-term strategy to partner with like-minded people to complete more housing developments, but in the short term,  ACMHL urgently needs to secure many more places for people who want, need and deserve a safe, warm and comfortable home.

Lease your property

There are many benefits to leasing your property to ACMHL:

  • Peace of mind – ACMHL and Auckland City Mission will together, support the tenants and care for your investment property
  • Guaranteed market rent and favourable lease terms – ACMHL are contracted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development who provide increased security of market rent and lease term
  • Regular house visits – Through the Housing First Programme, Auckland City Mission Social Services Team conduct weekly visits to ensure their clients have all the support and skills needed to be a great tenant whilst ACMHL’s Tenancy and Property Management Team will conduct at least quarterly inspections to ensure the property is well maintained by the tenant.
  • Zero fees – ACMHL charge no fees for undertaking the tenancy and property management of your investment property, therefore, you will receive full market rent
  • Interest deductions – The Government proposes that you will still be able to claim interest deductions on your property if you lease it to us!
  • Real time reporting to your inbox – The team can report on inspections, log maintenance and share select property information directly to you, through our cloud-based tenancy and property management system.
