Welcome to the Mission Grocer!
This year, we opened the Mission Grocer to bring low-cost healthy food to the central Auckland community.
For many in our community, barriers like cost, physical mobility issues and social anxiety can make it hard to shop in mainstream grocers. The Mission Grocer is a friendly, inclusive shop offering a growing range of fresh produce and delicious frozen meals, right here at HomeGround.
Our vision is for the Mission Grocer to become a sustainable social enterprise, open five days a week, employing people from our community and supported by our volunteers.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to shop at the Mission Grocer – the more regular customers we have, the more we can make healthy food accessible for Aucklanders in need.
