Terms and conditions
- There is no extra entry fee to the competition.
- Items for the competition must be purchased from one of the Mission’s four op-shops from April 13th until May 22nd. Anything purchased outside of this window will not be considered.
- The competition closes at 11:59pm on May 22nd. Any submissions made after this date will not be considered.
- The ReMake Challenge is open to all ages, so long as the proof of purchase is provided.
- Submissions to the competition can be made through either the online form on the Mission website or through an Instagram post using the advertised hashtags and follow up message to the Mission page with your full name and email address.
- Submissions made through any means other than through Instagram or through the website form will not be considered.
- By entering the competition, you are granting the Mission permission to share your submitted photos on our social media, website, in our newsletters, in print, or in any future promotions or communications.
- By entering the competition, you grant permission to the Mission should you win, to use your name and submitted photos of your creation in publications by the Mission or external parties.
- More than one entry per person is permitted, however, each submission must be made separately
- When submitting through the online form, please follow the prompts on the form. Upload clear photos of your upcycled item, along with photos or videos of any details you would like to show off. You must also upload a photo of your receipt from your purchase.
- If submitting through Instagram, upload clear photos of your upcycled item, along with photos or videos of any details you would like to show off. You must also upload a photo of your receipt from your purchase. Please use the hashtags #ACMRemakeChallenge, and make sure your Instagram profile is not on private so that we are able to see your entry. You will also need to send the Auckland City Mission an Instagram message with your full name and email address so that we can contact you should you win!
- Please ensure that you retain and upload a copy of your receipt with your submission. Entries will only be considered if there is proof of purchase from one of the Auckland City Mission’s four op shops.
- Entries will be judged in the final week of May (23rd – 29th May), with the winners being announced in the following 2 weeks.
- If the winner cannot be contacted by the Mission through reasonable means, the Mission reserves the right to choose an alternative winner.
- These terms and conditions will be assumed to have been read and understood by entrants on their posting a submission on Instagram, or on the online form through the ticking of the agreement to the terms and conditions before submission.
- The Mission is not liable for any losses or damages incurred in participating in the competition.
